Social Service Group, HKUSU was founded in 1950. Our motto is “Serve and Realize, Educate Oneself.” We have always been devoted to serving the social vulnerable groups. Our aims are to promote an interest in social problems among the members, organize schemes for social betterment as well as promote and encourage social service and research activities of Hong Kong society. We are going to organize a series of functions to fulfill the needs of different target groups of the vulnerable groups such as direct services, experience day and advocacy.

香港大學學生會社會服務團成立於1950年，團訓為「服務實踐、自我教育」，一直致力於服務本地弱勢社群。本團的目標為增加會員對社會議題的關注、改善社會、推廣及鼓勵社會服務及相關的研究工作。我們會透過一系列的活動去迎合不同的需要，例如直接服務、體驗日、倡議性活動等等。
